A Philippine Airlines flight from Riyadh to Manila turned into an unforgettable journey when a mother unexpectedly gave birth mid-flight last week.
With the help of PAL’s cabin crew and medical professionals among the passengers, including a midwife, two nurses, and a retired doctor, the baby boy was safely delivered while the plane cruised at 30,000 feet.
Upon arrival in Manila, the mother and newborn received additional medical care and were both reported to be in stable condition.
Aviation blogger Mond Ortiz shared the heartwarming news on Facebook, praising the teamwork that made the safe delivery possible. “Welcome to the world, baby Khalid!” he wrote, commending the crew and passengers who assisted in the emergency.
