The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority has shut down two restaurants, Bangla Snack Restaurant and Darbar Express Restaurant, due to multiple health and safety violations.
Located in the Industrial Junction area of the emirate, the eateries were found repeatedly serving high-risk food items in violation of food safety regulations. Additionally, the restaurants failed to control food temperatures during presentation.
According to a Khaleej Times report, the establishments also neglected hygiene measures, including keeping floors and surfaces clean and ensuring staff wore protective clothing such as headbands and gloves while handling food.
