Aspiring musicians invited to join free creative workshops in Dubai

Dubai’s newest center for creative learning, the Digital Renaissance Music Institute, is set to launch this month with a lineup of free masterclasses designed for aspiring musicians, creators, and cultural enthusiasts. The sessions will kick off on October 8, 2025, at MNK Studios in Al Quoz, offering participants an inside look into the Institute’s innovative approach to music education.

Open to the public but limited to 30 participants per session, the workshops aim to nurture talent and provide hands-on training led by Digital Renaissance’s faculty and subject leaders. Among the key facilitators is Tayeb Santo, a well-known artist, producer, and Subject Leader at the Institute, along with other guest mentors from Dubai’s creative community.

Each session focuses on a distinct area of musical practice and industry insight, including:

Music Industry Insights: Understanding careers, opportunities, and challenges in today’s music business.

Instrument Workshops (Piano, Drums, Guitar, Bass): Interactive learning for beginners and hobbyists.

Artistry: Singing & Songwriting: Techniques in vocal performance and storytelling through lyrics.

Music Production: Introduction to beatmaking, sound design, and digital audio workstations.

Audio Engineering: Fundamentals of mixing, mastering, and studio sound.

DJ Skills: Exploring transitions from vinyl to digital platforms and live mixing.

The free masterclasses represent the Institute’s vision of a global, practice-led approach to music education, blending experimentation, collaboration, and cultural fusion. Each class will run in afternoon and evening time slots—12–2 p.m., 2–4 p.m., and 7–9 p.m.—throughout October.

Interested participants can register via the Digital Renaissance official website or Instagram page (@digitalrenaissance.education) to secure a slot in their preferred session. Full schedules are available online.
