They began as two rising stars with their own paths in the entertainment industry—but together, Ashtine Olviga and Andrés Muhlach, now known by fans as AshDres, have proven to be a formidable force, thriving despite the lack of major mainstream promotions.
Ashtine has captivated fans with her emotional renditions of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) hits, especially her take on Sa Bawat Sandali, which has amassed over 876,000 streams. Her versions of Ulan and Sabihin Mo Na further showcase her vocal depth and connection to the roots of local music. A former member of several P-pop groups including Litz, she’s made her mark both as a soloist and group performer. Most recently, she clinched the JuanCast’s Female Fatale: Women of OPM title with over 32 million votes.

Andrés, on the other hand, earned praise for his refreshing interpretation of the Hotdog classic Ikaw Ang Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko, which now has over 455,000 streams. In March 2025, he bagged the Best New Male TV Personality award at the PMPC Star Awards—further cementing his rising status in the entertainment scene.
Their chemistry as AshDres sparked on the hit mini-series Ang Mutya ng Section E (AMNSE), which ignited a strong fandom called “Keepers.” Despite limited exposure through mall shows, commercials, and magazines, the tandem has amassed overwhelming support online. Their viral performance in Amiel Sol’s Sa Bawat Sandali music video—now with over 13 million views—was made possible with the help of fans from both the Keepers and SOLmates camps.

On social media, the AshDres phenomenon is undeniable. Their hashtag has accumulated over 2 billion views on TikTok, and trending parties on X (formerly Twitter) consistently generate more than 100,000 tweets per tag—with nine separate tags simultaneously trending on a single night.
Their recent meet-and-greet events on February 15, their first as a loveteam, sold out quickly, affirming the passionate fanbase behind them. The momentum continued with their March 16 mall show at SM City Caloocan, which drew a packed crowd.
Backing their growing star power is a major brand endorsement deal with Samsung, announced last March 2. The partnership fueled further buzz, firmly positioning AshDres as a marketable and bankable duo.
While AMNSE has wrapped up, there’s more to look forward to. The two are reportedly being eyed for TV5’s upcoming sitcom Da Pers Family, airing on Sunday’s Best. Meanwhile, fans can catch the full AMNSE cast at a two-day fan meet on May 1 and 2.
