Arte Museum, renowned for its immersive digital art experiences, has debuted its first Middle Eastern location in Dubai Mall. Spanning 30,000 square feet, the venue invites visitors to delve into its inaugural exhibition ‘Eternal Nature’, which seamlessly blends natural landscapes with cultural elements of Dubai.
“The paramount mission is to transport our audience into an awe-inspiring digital realm, meticulously crafted to awaken all their senses,” stated Sean Lee, CEO of d’strict, the company behind Arte Museum.
The exhibition comprises 14 zones, each offering breathtaking digital artworks that blur the lines between reality and hyper-reality. From towering waterfalls to serene desert landscapes, visitors are enveloped in stunning visuals that evoke the beauty of nature.
Adding a local touch, Arte Museum Dubai will unveil two new artworks inspired by the Middle East’s landscapes and cultural heritage: ‘Garden – Light of Dubai’ and ‘Live Canvas – Desert’. These pieces celebrate the fusion of Western and Eastern artistry, showcasing Dubai’s captivating beauty in a surreal golden radiance.
“We aim to trigger all the senses of our visitors to invite them into a uniquely immersive and lasting experience,” said Jin Lee, Vice President at d’strict and Creative Director of Arte Museum.
To further enhance immersion, visitors can interact with exhibits like the Live Sketchbook, where their drawings come to life on the walls of the exhibition. Additionally, the Arte Tea Bar offers tea-based mocktails infused with scents matching each zone, providing a multisensory journey.
The soundscape, created by globally renowned composer Young-gyu Jang, complements the artworks with meticulously crafted nature sounds and evocative background music.
Marianne Nawrocki Sabatier, a distinguished perfumery expert, curated scents to accompany each artwork, enhancing the holistic viewing experience.
