Actress Arci Muñoz opened up about the defining highs and lows of her life in a recent interview with Boy Abunda.
Arci shared that the most unforgettable high point of her journey was when she entered showbiz, calling it an exciting adventure full of uncertainty. “The highlight was when I entered showbiz kasi it was such an adventure,” she said.
On the flip side, Arci recounted her lowest moment—an on-stage accident in 2014 where she injured her face with a microphone while performing a rock song. While the injury was painful, it was the emotional reaction of her mother that truly broke her heart. “I saw my mom crying so hard… that’s what broke my heart,” she said.
Despite the hardships, Arci emphasized that she has no regrets and is thankful for everything she has gone through. She believes every opportunity and person that comes into her life has a purpose. “Lahat ng ‘to pinagdudugtong-dugtong ko lang… I grab [every opportunity],” she said.
Aside from acting, Arci also balances being a musician, cosplayer, and Air Force reservist—roles she proudly embraces.
Arci is set to be a special guest at The Global Filipino Icon Awards 2025, which will be held at Dusit Thani Dubai, on April 5, 2025.
