Apple has unveiled the Apple Watch Ultra 2, now available in a new black titanium finish. While the design and specifications remain largely the same as the previous model, the latest version introduces the Titanium Milanese Loop band, designed for lightweight comfort and water activities.
The black titanium finish is crafted using a custom blasting process and features a diamond-like carbon coating, making it scratch-resistant and durable. The back crystal is made from dark zirconia, matching the watch’s sleek design.
Priced from AED3,199, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is available for pre-order and will hit the market on September 20. Additionally, Apple has updated the Trail Loop, Alpine Loop, and Ocean Band to complement the new finish.
Among the standout features, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 boasts Apple’s brightest display yet at 3000 nits, and the new watchOS 11 introduces a Tides app, providing tidal forecasts and sunrise/sunset information for coastal areas worldwide. Users can now listen to audio directly from the watch’s built-in speakers, including from apps like Apple Music and Podcasts.
The Workout app also expands its capabilities, offering enhanced GPS tracking for a variety of sports, from skiing to outdoor rowing, alongside detailed route maps for more activities.
