The highly anticipated Apple iPhone 16 series is expected to debut next month, with a potential launch date set for September 10. Traditionally, Apple has introduced its new iPhone lineups in September, and this year seems to be no different, though the launch might occur a bit earlier than last year’s September 12 release of the iPhone 15 series.
A report from Chinese outlet CNMO Technology News suggests that the iPhone 16 series, which includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, will be unveiled on a Tuesday, continuing Apple’s trend of Tuesday launches. However, it’s worth noting that CNMO does not have a solid track record for launch date predictions, and the source of their information is unclear.
Leaked images and dummy units have given enthusiasts a glimpse of the new models, indicating that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus might feature a vertical camera module to support spatial video recording for Apple Vision Pro. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro is rumored to come in darker shades of black compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro, and all models are expected to have bigger camera sensors and brighter displays with the Samsung M14 OLED panel. The bezels on the new models are also anticipated to be the thinnest yet.
