Angelica Yulo’s life story rumored to be turned into a biopic by generous sponsor

A potential biopic focusing on the life of Angelica Yulo, mother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, is rumored to be in development, according to a report by showbiz insider and game show host Ogie Diaz.

Although unconfirmed, sources indicate that the project may be backed by the same businessman who sponsored Angelica’s recent trip to Singapore. This individual is reportedly considering taking on the role of producer for the film.

In a recent episode of “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” Diaz shared Angelica’s gratitude for her eldest daughter, Jorielgel Yulo, who purchased their airfare to Singapore. The businessman’s support also extended to financing the trip.

During the discussion, Ogie mentioned, “Did you know that they’re planning to make a movie titled ‘The Angelica Yulo Life Story?’”

This revelation prompted his co-host, Mama Loi, to ask, “Really? Why not make it the Carlos Yulo Life Story?”

Ogie explained, “That will be part of it, but the story of Mommy Angelica is unique and stands out.”

Additionally, the businessman has reportedly provided a luxurious home worth ₱95 million for the Yulo family to stay in for as long as they wish.

As of now, there has been no official response or comment from the Yulo family regarding the rumored biopic.
