Angelica Yulo, the mother of two-time Olympian gold medalist Carlos Yulo, publicly apologized to her son through a heartfelt letter on Wednesday. The apology was issued during a press conference held at a hotel in Manila.
In her letter, Angelica expressed regret and sorrow over the misunderstandings and issues that have come to light. She acknowledged the public’s perception of her actions and emphasized her intention to resolve matters quietly and peacefully.
Carlos, who recently addressed several topics in a video statement on Tuesday, mentioned his concerns regarding his mother receiving incentives without his consent and the controversies involving his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose.
Angelica’s letter further expressed a desire for all parties to find peace and healing over time.
