Andrew Garfield is heading to Abu Dhabi to meet fans this April

Hollywood star Andrew Garfield, best known for his role as Spider-Man, is headed to the UAE this April for the highly anticipated Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC). The actor’s upcoming appearance was unveiled in style during a vibrant graffiti art reveal at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Garfield will be joining an impressive celebrity lineup at the three-day event, happening from April 18 to 20 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Other big names set to appear include Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, Star Wars veteran Ian McDiarmid, and Stranger Things actress Natalia Dyer. Fans can look forward to celebrity panels, meet-and-greet sessions, and exclusive autograph opportunities.

A two-time Oscar nominee, Garfield has built a remarkable film career beyond his superhero fame. His standout performances in Hacksaw Ridge and Tick, Tick … Boom! earned him critical acclaim, along with a Golden Globe and a Tony Award to his name. He’s also worked with iconic directors like David Fincher, Martin Scorsese, and David Robert Mitchell.

As always, MEFCC is set to be a haven for pop culture lovers, bringing together fans, artists, and creatives under one roof. This year’s edition will also feature a short film competition with Dh10,000 in prizes, along with a showcase of elaborate cosplay from the region’s most passionate fans.

Tickets are selling fast, with VIP passes already gone. Standard tickets range from Dh150 to Dh395, depending on the day and access level.
