Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes has put an end to speculations, confirming that she is currently dating former basketball player Sam Fernandez.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the 21-year-old star clarified that while she and Fernandez are dating, they are not yet in an official relationship.
“He’s a private person. Non-showbiz siya. He’s also not a basketball player. He used to play,” Andrea said, addressing misconceptions about her rumored boyfriend.
She also responded to comments about moving on too quickly, explaining that she has been single for two years and is simply open to dating.
This comes after Andrea and Sam were spotted together multiple times, including on Valentine’s Day, where he was seen giving her pink roses.
Andrea, who previously dated basketball player Ricci Rivero, has been vocal about her expectations in a partner. She reiterated her preference for a “one-woman man” who is loyal, respectful, and honest.
For now, the Senior High star is taking things slow, enjoying the dating stage while focusing on her career.
