Actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga experienced her third pregnancy loss, her husband, politician Mikee Morada, revealed during an emotional conversation with Alex’s sister, Toni Gonzaga, on the YouTube talk show Toni Talks.
Mikee shared that the miscarriage happened in December 2024, making it the couple’s most painful loss yet. “Kami ni Catherine… nung nalaman naming pregnant siya, kasi feeling namin nabuo ‘to nung birthday ni Mommy Pinty sa Singapore. Hindi namin talaga akalain, wala talaga kaming plano,” Mikee recounted.
The couple initially received hopeful news during their check-ups, with the ultrasound showing positive signs. However, complications arose. After seeking a second opinion, they were overjoyed to hear their baby’s heartbeat for the first time. “Naiyak ako nung narinig ko yung heartbeat. First time kong nakarinig ng heartbeat,” Mikee shared.
Unfortunately, their joy was short-lived. On December 28, doctors confirmed their baby no longer had a heartbeat despite their efforts to save the pregnancy. “Ginawa namin lahat,” Mikee added, expressing the devastation of losing their child.
This marks Alex’s third miscarriage, following previous losses in October 2021 and October 2023. The couple’s candid revelations resonated with viewers, with many offering their prayers and sharing their own stories of hope and resilience.
