Actor and cycling enthusiast Alden Richards took to Instagram to express frustration over damage to his bike frame following a Cathay Pacific flight to the Philippines.
“Shoutout to [Cathay Pacific] for fracturing my bike frame and unloading my bike box and bike rack on my way home to the Philippines,” Richards wrote, alongside a photo showing the extent of the damage. “This is very upsetting!” he added.
Richards, dubbed Asia’s Multimedia Star, has been actively involved in cycling, recently completing a 61-kilometer ride in May. His post drew attention from fellow bike lovers, including Kapuso actor Kristoffer Martin, who also reshared the post.
In response, a representative from Cathay Pacific confirmed the airline is looking into the matter.
Outside of his cycling pursuits, Richards is preparing for his directorial debut in the film Out of Order, where he stars alongside Nonie Buencamino and Heaven Peralejo. He is also currently hosting GMA’s Stars on the Floor.
