Actor Albie Casiño has finally met his son, Roman Andrew. The heartwarming moment was shared on Instagram, where Albie posted a touching video of his first encounter with Roman at the San Francisco International Airport.
In the video, Albie is warmly welcomed by his girlfriend Michelina and their baby boy. The emotional reunion was captured in a clip showing Albie’s overwhelming joy. “A great man told me ‘being a dad has no days off or retirement.’ I wouldn’t have it any other way. I finally got to meet my son. Hello, Roman Andrew, the world is yours, little man,” Albie wrote in the caption.
Details about Roman’s birth remain undisclosed, but it appears that Albie’s close friends in the industry were already aware. Singer and “It’s Showtime” host Darren Espanto commented, “WE CAN FINALLY TALK ABOUT IT PUBLICLY HAHAHA,” while Ruffa Gutierrez congratulated him, saying, “Congratulations!! not a secret anymore, Ahia!!”
Earlier in May, TV personality and talent manager Ogie Diaz revealed in his vlog that Albie had become a father. Diaz shared, “Tumulak na papuntang US ang young actor para makita, mahawakan, at makarga ang kanyang unang anak. Ang kanyang baby boy kasi, ang kanyang jowa na isang foreigner ay nanganak noong April 30.” He added that Albie asked him to keep the news under wraps until he could travel to the U.S. to meet his son.
In 2011, Albie was controversially named as the father of Andi Eigenmann’s child, Ellie, which he later denied. Jake Ejercito was eventually revealed to be Ellie’s father, and he has since delighted fans with his close relationship with his daughter.
