The Philippine National Volleyball Men’s team was warmly welcomed by Filipino Club Executive Committee members Mr. Jo Dadea and Ms. Annette Avila, along with Ms. Cheryl Baco, President of the Filipino Club Volleyball Group, and Ric Advincula, Immediate past President of the Filipino Club and lead coordinator for the Filipino community for this exciting event.
Alas Pilipinas team who made a historic 3-0 win against the powerhouse of Thailand, Indonesia and South Korea in the recently concluded 2025 Alas Pilipinas Invitational Tournament last June 12-15, 2025. The tournament was organized to serve as preparation for the Philippine men’s national team’s (Alas Pilipinas) upcoming stint in the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship which will also be hosted in the Philippines.
Alas Pilipinas hopes to make wave as they vie for a podium finish in the AVC Men’s Volleyball Nation Cup 2025 happening from June 17-24, 2025 at the Kingdom of Bahrain. The team belongs to the Pool A which is scheduled to face Pakistan and the Chinese Taipei in the elimination round on June 17 and 18 respectively.
