Al Ansari Exchange has pledged AED 50 million to Al Jalila Foundation in support of the construction of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital — the first fully integrated and comprehensive cancer facility in Dubai.
The donation forms part of the company’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts and extends its longstanding partnership with Al Jalila Foundation, the charitable arm of Dubai Health. In recognition of the contribution, the hospital’s Imaging Diagnostic Suite 2 will bear Al Ansari Exchange’s name.
Mohammad A. Al Ansari, Chairman of Al Ansari Exchange, said the initiative reflects their belief in giving back to the community. “We are delighted to be part of this vital project that will make a real difference in the lives of cancer patients,” he said. “Our contribution to the development of the diagnostic imaging suite at the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital reflects our deep belief in the importance of social responsibility in the UAE.”
He added that the donation mirrors the company’s values of compassion and solidarity, noting their commitment to supporting causes that improve lives and advance healthcare access across the country.
Dr. Amer Al Zarooni, CEO of Al Jalila Foundation, lauded the partnership, calling Al Ansari Exchange “a true example of meaningful community partnership that advances our mission and makes a lasting impact.” He said the donation will strengthen diagnostic and treatment services and elevate patient care standards in line with Dubai Health’s “Patient First” philosophy.
Set to redefine cancer care in the region, the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital will provide early diagnosis, specialized treatment, and holistic patient support. It will also focus on research and clinical trials, following environmentally sustainable design principles to ensure world-class, compassionate healthcare delivery.
