Ajman tops UAE in daytime safety, records 99% nighttime security

Ajman has secured the top position for daytime safety in the UAE, earning a perfect 100 percent rating in 2024, according to the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre’s Security Quality of Life Survey. The emirate shares this top spot with Abu Dhabi.

The survey also highlighted Ajman’s impressive 99 percent score in the national index for feeling safe while walking alone at night, an improvement from its 98.5 percent rating in 2023. These achievements strengthen the UAE’s reputation as a secure and welcoming destination.

Ajman Police attributed the milestone to its advanced security initiatives, including the use of artificial intelligence, smart surveillance systems under the “Ajman – A Safe Home” initiative, enhanced emergency response capabilities, and increased patrol presence. Smart gates and upgraded police operations at comprehensive stations also contributed to maintaining public safety.

The leadership of Ajman, including His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, provided continuous support to these efforts.

Authorities highlighted that these security accomplishments align with broader national objectives, including the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031” vision, Ajman Vision 2030, and the UAE Centennial 2071.
