Ajman’s transport authority has announced a reduction in taxi fares for October, with the rate set at Dh1.75 per kilometre. This marks a 5-fils decrease from the September rate of Dh1.80 per kilometre and is the second consecutive monthly drop.
According to a Khaleej Times report, the fare reduction follows recent fuel price adjustments, which take effect from October 1. Fuel prices will see a decrease of up to 24 fils per litre. Super 98 petrol will be priced at Dh2.66 per litre, Special 95 at Dh2.54, E-Plus 91 at Dh2.47, and diesel at Dh2.6 per litre.
Drivers can expect to pay between Dh12.24 and Dh17.76 less for a full tank of fuel in October compared to the previous month.
