Starting tomorrow, June 1, commuters in Ajman will benefit from reduced taxi fares as transport authorities have announced a drop in rates. Ajman Transport has decreased cab fares to Dh1.84 per kilometre for the month of June, down from Dh1.88 per kilometre in May, marking a reduction of 4 fils.
This adjustment follows the UAE authorities’ decision to lower fuel prices by 20 fils for June. From tomorrow, Super 98 petrol will cost Dh3.14 per litre, Special 95 will be priced at Dh3.02, and E-plus 91 will cost Dh2.95.
Residents, depending on the type of car they drive, can expect to save up to Dh14.80 every time they fill up their tanks this month.
