AffordaCup, a restaurant renowned for its authentic Kapampangan dishes, has expanded its presence in Dubai with the opening of a new branch in Al Nahda. The official opening took place on June 8, 2024, at Latifa Tower Shop 05, Al Nahda 1, Dubai.
Owned by the Mariano siblings—Ramona, Aiza, and Jovito—along with Ramona’s husband, Cris Sotto, AffordaCup aims to bring the rich flavors of Pampanga to Dubai’s diverse population. Each owner brings unique skills to the venture: Ramona applies her leadership experience from her nursing career, Aiza manages finances with her accounting background, Jovito adds marketing savvy, and Cris, formerly an architect, focuses on creating a welcoming dining environment.
The restaurant is celebrated for dishes such as sisig and kare-kare, which are adapted to suit local tastes while preserving their authentic flavors. With its pilot branch successfully operating in Al Satwa, the new Al Nahda location marks an exciting expansion of AffordaCup’s mission to share Kapampangan cuisine with a broader audience.
