Travellers with Emirates flights affected by regional airspace disruptions now have until 30 April 2026 to rebook their itineraries, as the airline gradually restores operations following a partial reopening of affected routes.
Passengers whose flights were cancelled or rescheduled between February 28 and March 31 can make up to nine changes under a travel waiver the airline has put in place. Those whose new travel date falls within 72 hours can process changes directly through the Emirates website or mobile app, where seat preferences, special meal requests, and Chauffeur-drive arrangements can also be updated.
For rebooking requests beyond that 72-hour window, Emirates has directed passengers to reach out through its support channels rather than managing changes independently online.
Passengers with cancelled connecting flights through Dubai have been specifically advised not to proceed to the airport before securing alternative arrangements. The airline said it will attempt to place affected travellers on the next available service, including onward connections, and that no action is required from those willing to accept the automatically assigned replacement flight.
Refunds are available for tickets purchased directly through Emirates via its online refund form. Those who booked through a travel agent must coordinate the refund process through that agent.
The airline has also flagged online fraud risks tied to the disruptions, warning passengers against sharing booking details or personal information in public posts and encouraging the use of direct messaging for private support queries.
Emirates said the safety and security of passengers and crew remain its foremost concern as it works to expand its flight schedule.
