Dubai Police have issued a set of guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable 53rd Eid Al Ittihad holiday, urging residents and visitors to adhere to traffic regulations and avoid disruptive activities.
Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Acting Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs, highlighted key rules, including avoiding random marches or gatherings, refraining from using party sprays, and keeping vehicle license plates unobstructed. He stressed that cars should not be altered with unauthorized stickers, signs, or modifications unless they meet official guidelines for the occasion.
Al Mazrouei also warned against covering windows with stickers, using visibility-blocking sunshades, or performing stunts on roads, as such actions could result in fines under Decree No. 30 of 2023. This decree allows for fines of up to AED 50,000 to release impounded vehicles involved in violations.
Dubai Police will deploy extensive resources to manage traffic and maintain safety during the celebrations. Patrols will focus on preventing congestion and ensuring the comfort of all road users while upholding Dubai’s reputation for organized and secure events.
