Actress and beauty queen Herlene Budol has released a new statement regarding the recent controversy that has embroiled her in the past few days. In a heartfelt post, Budol expressed her distress over the situation, stating that it has significantly affected her ability to focus on her work. “I’m quietly absorbed in taping, struggling to concentrate on my job due to the issue of a couple with a child. Then I find out my name is being dragged and bashed for no reason,” she shared.
The Kapuso star, also known as ‘Hipon Girl’, emphasized her humble beginnings and family background. “Yes, you may see me as ‘Squammy’, but I am not desperate. I am a product of a broken family, raised properly by my grandparents,” Budol explained. She further added that her usual script learning sessions, often lightened with jokes and one-liners, have been misconstrued by the public.
