In a recent interview with veteran host Boy Abunda, 34-year-old actress Cristine Reyes confirmed that her marriage to Ali Khatibi has been annulled. When asked about her marital status, Reyes responded, “Matagal na, Tito Boy. Yes po, like more than a year.” She also explained, “Kasi, Tito Boy, hindi ko naman siya in-announce eh. It’s not something I should celebrate,” alluding to her desire for privacy despite her public figure status.
Reyes and Khatibi, who got married in January 2016, had been plagued by rumors of separation since 2019. However, this is the first time Reyes has officially addressed the status of their relationship.
The couple has a daughter together.
Currently, Cristine Reyes is in a relationship with actor Marco Gumabao, who was also interviewed by Boy Abunda regarding their future plans. Gumabao responded, “Of course. Basta ang usapan namin is ay ‘yung future together. Pero ‘yung details or kung ano of course konti-konti, pero ‘yung long view ‘yun ang napag-uusapan namin, yes.”
