Athletes of all levels are gearing up for HYROX Abu Dhabi, a major fitness event set to take place on July 19 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Touted as the world’s largest indoor race, HYROX Abu Dhabi is expected to draw fitness enthusiasts, gym-goers, and elite athletes alike for a high-energy competition that blends running and functional workouts.
The event, part of the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS) program, is being organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in partnership with HYROX, one of the fastest-growing fitness race brands worldwide.
Participants will take on a challenging format featuring eight 1-kilometer runs, each paired with a different strength or endurance workout. The competition offers various categories including individual, doubles (male, female, or mixed), pro divisions for advanced athletes, and a four-person relay.
In a move to promote inclusivity, HYROX Abu Dhabi will also introduce an Adaptive Division to support athletes with physical disabilities.
