Abu Dhabi has made history with a record-breaking aerial spectacle, officially setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest synchronized display of drones and fireworks.
The breathtaking show took place during the Gala Dinner Ceremony marking the opening of the 4th Global Symposium on Implementation Support and the Global Sustainable Aviation Marketplace, held in the UAE capital from February 10 to 12.
A total of 1,000 drones illuminated the night sky, with 300 forming intricate rings, while 152 fireworks erupted in perfect synchronization. The dazzling display, orchestrated with cutting-edge technology and precision, showcased Abu Dhabi’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation.
The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) spearheaded the record-setting feat, emphasizing the country’s leadership in airspace management and emerging aviation technologies.
Saif Mohamed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the GCAA, highlighted the significance of the achievement, stating that it underscores the UAE’s dedication to integrating advanced technology and delivering world-class aerial performances with precision and safety.
