Abu Dhabi Police reward responsible motorists for following traffic rules

Abu Dhabi Police have honored responsible drivers in the Al Dhafra region as part of an initiative to promote road safety and encourage adherence to traffic laws.

According to a Gulf News report, during a ceremony at the ADNOC station in Abu Al Abyad, officers from the Happiness Patrol and traffic patrols presented gifts to motorists who consistently follow road regulations.

The initiative aims to reinforce safe driving habits and enhance overall traffic safety, according to authorities.

Colonel Saif Mohammed Naif Al Ameri, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, emphasized that the program aligns with Abu Dhabi Police’s strategic goals of boosting traffic awareness, promoting compliance, and reducing violations.

“This initiative not only encourages motorists to maintain safe driving practices but also reflects our commitment to protecting lives and property on the roads,” he said.

Drivers who received recognition expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that it strengthens their commitment to responsible driving. They also praised Abu Dhabi Police for its efforts in raising awareness and fostering a safer driving environment.
