Abu Dhabi Police offering workshops to help drivers remove black points

Abu Dhabi Police are encouraging motorists to take advantage of a month-long initiative designed to help reduce black points and reinstate suspended driving licences.

Through its Follow-up and Aftercare Department, the force announced that free workshops and courses are being held daily on the first floor of Mushrif Mall from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The program runs from October 20 to November 20, 2025.

Authorities said the initiative features two key services. The first allows eligible drivers with fewer than 24 black points on their licence to remove eight points upon completing the training.

The second service offers a path for motorists who have reached the maximum 24 black points and had their licence revoked. They can regain their licence by attending educational sessions and paying the required fees, police noted.

Abu Dhabi Police encouraged drivers to participate early and use the opportunity to improve road safety awareness while correcting violations on their records.
