Abi Marquez reacts to seeing herself on a giant Dubai billboard ahead of global summit

Filipino content creator Abi Marquez shared a moment of disbelief and pride after seeing herself featured on a massive billboard in Dubai alongside some of the world’s most recognizable digital and entertainment figures, ahead of the upcoming 1 Billion Followers Summit.

In a social media post, Marquez reacted to the sight of a Filipina creator displayed on a giant outdoor screen together with global names such as MrBeast, Will Smith, David Dobrik, Colin and Samir, Max Amini, and Nigel Ng, calling the moment surreal and deeply meaningful for Filipino representation on a global stage. She also acknowledged the support of her management team at NYMA Talent Management, her audience, the summit organizers, and her faith.

The post comes as Marquez prepares for a busy appearance at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai, scheduled from January 9 to 11, where she is set to take part in high-level discussions on the creator economy. Based on earlier announcements, she will join panels examining how creators turn brand partnerships into content audiences genuinely want to watch, covering topics such as authentic storytelling, seamless brand integration, and the scaling of collaborations from early deals to multi-six- and seven-figure partnerships.

Widely known as the “Lumpia Queen,” Marquez has built a global following of over 10 million by spotlighting Filipino food and culture through modern digital storytelling. Her work has earned international recognition, including being named to Forbes 30 Under 30, winning a Webby Award, receiving a James Beard Media Awards nomination, and being recognized by WIBA and Tatler Asia’s Gen.T list for her impact on culture, media, and business.
