Abdu Rozik, the 20-year-old Tajik social media sensation and former Bigg Boss contestant, has announced the cancellation of his wedding to Amira, a 19-year-old Emirati woman from Sharjah. The couple, who got engaged in April 2024, were scheduled to marry on July 7. However, the wedding was initially postponed due to Rozik’s boxing match at Coca-Cola Arena.
Rozik shared that the decision to call off the wedding stemmed from cultural differences that emerged over time. “I am sad to announce that I have cancelled my wedding,” he said in a Khaleej Times report. “As our relationship progressed, we encountered some cultural differences that ultimately influenced this decision. It requires a partner who is mentally resilient and strong enough to navigate that journey.”
Known for overcoming childhood rickets and rising to fame through his viral MMA fight with Hasbulla Magomedov, Rozik highlighted the importance of staying true to himself. He added, “I owe much of my success to embracing who I am. I am forever grateful for my health and for the support of all of you who helped me become who I am today.”
Despite the emotional difficulty, Rozik remains optimistic. “I trust that love will find me again when the time is right,” he said, thanking his fans for their unwavering support.
Rozik, who holds the UAE Golden Visa, has amassed over 8.2 million Instagram followers and continues to be a prominent figure in the influencer space.
