Star Cinema’s recent blockbuster, “A Very Good Girl”, has hit a significant milestone, garnering over P100 million just two weeks after its theatrical release. This success was announced by ABS-CBN’s movie division in a social media post this Tuesday.
In their post, Star Cinema expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you for making a very good choice to get our local cinemas up and running again. Let us keep up the Philo-menal support for our local films.”
Director Petersen Vargas took to social media, sharing his elation about the movie’s success, “OKKK we’re at over 100M as we end the 2nd week of #AVeryGoodGirl in cinemas… This is an experience of a lifetime for me, and I could never be more grateful to my team, @StarCinema’s trust, and to @bernardokath & @DollyEdeLeon, MY GIRLS.”
Currently, “A Very Good Girl” is screening in more than 250 theaters across the Philippines and has expanded its reach globally. Following its premiere in Hollywood on October 4, US theaters are also showcasing the film.
The same film is also now showing in UAE cinemas.
The film boasts a star-studded cast, featuring Jake Ejercito, Angel Aquino, Chie Filomeno, Donna Cariaga, Gillian Vicencio, Ana Abad Santos, Kaori Oinuma, Althea Ruedas, Nathania Guerrero, and Nour Hooshmand.
