Asia’s Box Office Superstar, Kathryn Bernardo, and the internationally-acclaimed actor, Dolly de Leon, are set to take audiences on a thrilling ride of revenge in Star Cinema’s 30th-anniversary film, “A Very Good Girl”. The movie made its debut in Philippine cinemas on September 27 and has now hit screens in UAE.
In the movie, Bernardo portrays Philomena Angeles, a character driven by vengeance against business tycoon Mother Molly Suzara, played by de Leon. As Philomena delves deep into the glamorous, yet secretive life of Mother Molly, she discovers that her quest for revenge is far more complex than she imagined.
“A Very Good Girl” marks a significant return for Bernardo after the massive success of her 2019 hit, “Hello, Love, Goodbye”. On the other hand, for Dolly de Leon, who has previously been nominated for both BAFTA and Golden Globe awards, the movie represents her first lead role in an ABS-CBN film.
The cast also boasts notable actors such as Chie Filomeno, Jake Ejercito, and Angel Aquino, among others.
After its premiere in the Philippines, the movie is set to be showcased in US, Canada, and Guam theaters from October 6. Additionally, the film will enjoy a Hollywood premiere on October 4 at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.
