During her performance of the hit song “22” at “The Eras Tour” in Tokyo, Japan, Taylor Swift surprised her audience by gifting her fedora hat to a lucky 10-year-old Filipina fan, Andi Santos Daquigan.
Andi, overwhelmed with joy, described herself as “wonderstruck and blushing all the way home” after receiving the signed item from Swift.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Andi expressed admiration for the American singer-songwriter, describing her as beautiful with blue eyes and black hair, reminiscent of Barbie and with a lovely scent.
Recalling the moment Swift stood in front of her, Andi said it felt like a million stars had aligned, and she was moved to tears when Swift hugged her and said, “I love you.”
Andi’s mother, Love Santos, believes her daughter was hand-picked by Swift’s mother, Andrea, sharing similarities in their names. The family was caught in a whirlwind after the concert, with fans clamoring to take pictures and touch the cherished hat.
Despite offers to purchase the hat, both mother and daughter emphasized its sentimental value, stating that it will be preserved as a priceless memory.
Obtaining tickets for the concert was challenging, but Love expressed that the experience was worth every effort, considering the joy it brought to her daughter and the unforgettable memories they will carry back to the Philippines.
