Senator Koko Pimentel was recently spotted in Dubai, where he participated in the World Governments Summit 2024. The summit, held under the theme of ‘Shaping Future Governments,’ brought together governments, international organizations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders from around the globe.
In his Facebook posts, Senator Pimentel expressed his honor and privilege to attend such a prestigious event. He shared photos of himself engaging in discussions and networking with various dignitaries, including the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar. Notably, Senator Pimentel attended the summit alongside Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver, showcasing the Philippines’ representation at the international forum.
Additionally, Senator Pimentel shared another post highlighting Dubai’s Aerial Taxi, touted as the future of urban transportation in the city. The aerial taxi is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Dubai Airport and Palm Jumeirah.
