Emirati food vlogger Feed Kiani recently shared his exciting journey of tasting Filipino food for the first time, capturing the hearts of his followers on Instagram.
On his visit to Pares Republic, a home-grown restaurant in Dubai’s Satwa neighborhood, Kiani ventured into the world of Filipino flavors, trying out dishes like Beef Pares, Gotong Batangas, Lomi Batangas, and Kalderetang Kambing.
In his post, Kiani expressed his apologies for any mispronunciations of the dishes but shared his enthusiasm for the new culinary experience.
“My first time trying Filipino food!” he wrote, noting how the friendly staff at Pares Republic introduced him to authentic Batangas cuisine, a region known for its rich culinary heritage in the Philippines.
“I order couple of dishes and they ever gave me 2 soups to try. I must say i really liked the taste, and i loved the spicy chili sauce they serve on the side.”
“And the rice with the crispy garlic was a highlight as well! One soup, the Goto Batangas reminded me so much of persian kale patche,” he added.
