Dubai soared to new heights in tourism last year, welcoming a staggering 17 million international visitors. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, proudly announced this milestone today, underscoring the city’s position as a global tourism hub.
In his address, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized Dubai’s prominence in the tourism sector, citing its exceptional hotel occupancy rate of 77.4 percent, one of the highest worldwide. The city boasts a remarkable hotel capacity, boasting over 150,000 rooms to accommodate its flourishing tourism industry.
The announcement aligns with Dubai’s ambitious economic vision outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
