The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a complete closure of a key roundabout, affecting the areas of Al Qarayen 1, 3, 4, and 5. The closure, set from Friday, January 26 to Sunday, January 28, is part of a maintenance initiative aimed at enhancing the road’s efficiency.
Motorists have been advised of the full road closure in the square for the specified period. This measure is part of an ongoing effort to maintain and improve the infrastructure in the area.
In a related development, the Sharjah RTA had previously declared a closure on the street leading to University City Hall. This closure, stretching from Tuesday, January 23 to Wednesday, February 21, is in preparation for the upcoming Sharjah Lights Festival and will continue during the event.
The authority urges motorists to plan their routes accordingly, use alternative roads, and adhere to the traffic and directional signs to avoid congestion during these periods.
