Two expatriates in the UAE became the final winners of the year’s Mahzooz raffle draw, each securing a whopping Dh10 million. The lucky winners, Serhii from Ukraine and Zenobia from India, received the life-changing news on December 31, making their New Year celebrations truly unforgettable.
Zenobia, a 67-year-old Indian national who has called Dubai home for over three decades, expressed her astonishment at winning. Working as an administrator in a prominent business conglomerate in the UAE, she has been a consistent participant in the Mahzooz draw since it began. “The moment I learnt about the win, I was surprised. I received an email on the last day of the year,” Zenobia recounted.
As a devoted family woman with a daughter, a son, and two grandchildren, Zenobia’s first thought was to share her fortune with her loved ones. With plans still in the early stages, she is considering using part of her winnings to travel with her family. “I feel I want to travel with my children and grandchildren. I haven’t decided on what will I do with my winnings, though travel is on my mind for now,” she said.
