The CEO of The Mindful AI Lab, Suchana Seth, has been arrested following the shocking discovery of her four-year-old son’s body in her luggage, according to police reports. Seth, a prominent figure in India’s tech industry, was detained in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district.
The incident unfolded when Seth was returning by taxi from Goa to Bengaluru. Upon investigation, authorities found the child’s body concealed in her luggage. Seth, currently in police custody, has been unavailable for comments and it is unclear if she has legal representation.
The case came to light when hotel staff in Goa, where Seth had been staying with her son, noticed bloodstains in her room post-checkout. This discovery led to a coordinated effort between Goa and Karnataka police, culminating in Seth’s arrest.
Goa Police Inspector Paresh Naik and North Goa Superintendent of Police Nidhin Valsan have both confirmed these details. Valsan stated, “Upon opening her luggage, we discovered the tragic scene.”
Seth’s husband, currently in Indonesia, has been requested to return to India for the investigation. Attempts to reach Seth’s family and her company’s staff for comments have been unsuccessful. A local court has remanded Seth to six days in police custody, as reported by ANI.
