Commuters in Dubai can now pay their taxi fare on an installment basis

Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) announced a strategic partnership with Tabby, a leading payment and shopping company, to offer flexible payment solutions for all its transport services. This initiative, announced on Thursday, marks the first time in the UAE’s transport sector that postpaid services are being introduced.

The collaboration will enable customers to access various interest-free credit balances and short-term instalment programmes. This new system is designed to help customers manage their expenses more effectively while enjoying the full range of services offered by Dubai Taxi, including limousine services.

The agreement, signed at Dubai Taxi headquarters by DTC CEO Mansoor Rahma Al Falasi and Tabby CEO and Co-founder Hosam Arab, aims to redefine the landscape of postpaid transport services in the UAE. It is a significant step towards enhancing the quality of transport services and customer satisfaction, aligning with Dubai’s goal of becoming one of the world’s happiest cities.

Al Falasi emphasized the company’s commitment to integrating the latest technologies and innovative solutions, highlighting this partnership as a key strategy in meeting international standards in transport services. He also noted the significance of this collaboration in providing flexible, seamless, and secure payment options.

Hosam Arab of Tabby expressed excitement about the partnership, noting its potential to extend flexible payment options to a broader customer base. The initiative, facilitated through the Tabby app, will enable customers to optimize their financial resources while enjoying Dubai Taxi’s services.
