Investigators at Sharjah Police have closed a homicide case involving two Kazakh sisters, taking a fellow Kazakh national into custody as the suspect. The arrest came together through a combination of fieldwork, forensic analysis, and evidence review that let officers pinpoint the man and detain him quickly.
According to Brigadier Dr. Khalifa Balhai, who heads the force’s Criminal Investigation Department, questioning revealed that the two women knew the accused, and that a dispute among them escalated into the killings. He said modern analytical tools helped clarify what had taken place and exposed the motive.
The case first surfaced when the operations room was alerted to unusual activity inside an apartment. Officers were dispatched to the location, where they examined the scene, gathered material, and pieced together the sequence of events.
Balhai added that once confronted with the collected evidence, the man admitted responsibility. Authorities then began formal proceedings and referred the file to the Public Prosecution.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amer, who commands Sharjah Police, praised the teams for the speed and professionalism they brought to the case. He said the outcome reflects the readiness of the force to meet security threats, and he cautioned residents against acting on rumors, pressing them to rely only on official channels for information.
