Potato Corner has opened its third branch in the UAE at BurJuman Mall, extending its reach across Dubai and introducing the concept to one of the city’s most established retail communities.
The outlet is located on the mall’s ground floor, on the same level as Carrefour and close to the entrance of BurJuman Metro Station. This central and well connected setting offers convenient access for residents, professionals, families and tourists moving through Bur Dubai.
The opening follows Potato Corner’s entry into the UAE through Ibn Battuta Mall and the addition of its second branch at Flayva in Al Ghurair Centre. The three outlets serve different areas of Dubai and place the name within destinations that attract a broad mix of nationalities and age groups.
Potato Corner has built its international reputation around a simple concept: freshly prepared fries served with distinctive flavours. Its format has travelled successfully across different markets because it is easy to enjoy, familiar in its appeal and suited to a wide range of tastes.
“Potato Corner may have started in the Philippines, but it has grown into a name enjoyed by people from many cultures around the world,” said Rolly Brucales, Managing Partner of Off The Hook Group. “That is how we want it to be seen in the UAE. We are proud of where it began, while continuing to develop it as an international concept that welcomes everyone.”
Dubai’s multicultural character has made it a natural market for food concepts with global recognition. Residents are increasingly familiar with flavours and dining experiences from different parts of the world, allowing established names to connect with both loyal followers and people discovering them for the first time.
Since arriving in the country, Potato Corner has drawn interest from those who already knew the concept as well as a new audience attracted by its flavour choices and casual approach. This combination has supported its gradual development within the local food and beverage sector.
BurJuman Mall was selected because of its position within an active residential and commercial district. Its direct Metro connection and established visitor traffic provide an opportunity to serve the surrounding community while also reaching people travelling between different areas of the city.
“Every new opening needs to make sense for the business and for the people we hope to serve,” Brucales added. “BurJuman Mall gives us accessibility, a diverse audience and a strong community environment. It is an important addition to our operations and a location where we believe Potato Corner can build lasting relationships with its guests.”
Potato Corner in the UAE is operated by Off The Hook Group, which was established in 2016 with the opening of its Off The Hook Seafood restaurant in Abu Dhabi. Since then, the group has expanded its portfolio to include three brands: Off The Hook Seafood, Zutto Suki Ramen, and Potato Corner.
While each concept has its own identity, the group’s approach remains centred on quality, value, service and understanding the communities it serves. Its development has been guided by careful site selection and a commitment to building food experiences that can connect with the UAE’s varied population.
For Off The Hook Group, the third Potato Corner branch represents measured progress within a competitive market. It also supports the company’s broader aim of developing established concepts that can become part of Dubai’s everyday dining and leisure landscape.
