On August 15, 2026, Tri-Step Lodge No. 99 provided assistance to distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) residing at the Migrant Workers Resource Center (MWRC) of the Philippine Embassy in Manama, delivering essential supplies along with a message of support and solidarity.
Led byRogin Follante, Worshipful Master, the group visited theMigrant Workers Office (MWO), Villa 2, Philippine Embassy, where theyprovided essential items to 10 beneficiaries; seven adults and three children currently staying at the MWRC.

Joining Follante during the visit wereAlbert Tabor, Senior Deacon; John Paul Rivera, Lodge Secretary; Mark Toquero, Past Master; Paul Barios, Candidate; and Christopher Cunningham, Candidate.
Labor Attaché Dr. Orville A. Ballitoc warmly welcomed the group and expressed his appreciation for their thoughtful gesture and concern for OFWs who are going through difficult circumstances.
In his message, Follante shared that their visit was their way of showing care to distressed OFWs through whatever help they could extend.
Dr. Ballitoc likewise emphasized that many OFWs are hardworking and good people who sometimes find themselves facing difficult circumstances beyond their control. Drawing from his more than a year of service in Bahrain, he shared that he has also witnessed the kindness, understanding, and generosity of many Bahraini employers toward Filipino workers. While challenges may arise in any workplace, he noted that many employers genuinely care about the welfare of their Filipino employees and extend support when it is needed.

More than the essential items provided, the visit brought encouragement and a sense of support to the beneficiaries, reflecting the importance of compassion, volunteerism, and community solidarity in helping Filipinos cope with challenging times away from home.
For Tri-Step Lodge No. 99, the visit was more than a simple gift-giving activity. It was a meaningful expression of compassion and community service, reminding distressed OFWs that even small acts of kindness can bring comfort, hope, and a sense of home while they are far from their families.
The lodge has also been actively involved in community initiatives in Bahrain, partnering with the Travelers Tribe Masonic Club Bahrain (also known as T2) and the Filipino-American Association of Bahrain (Fil Am Bahrain) in various charitable activities. Through these continuing efforts, Tri-Step Lodge No. 99 demonstrates its commitment to extending support to communities in need and strengthening the spirit of fellowship, volunteerism, and service.
