Filipino rock icon Bamboo and pop-rock band Cup of Joe are set to headline a concert in Dubai this December, The Global Filipino Magazine has learned, in a billing that pairs two of Original Pilipino Music’s biggest draws on one stage.
The concert is presented by HOP & Eyeconyx.
Bamboo, fronted by Bamboo Mañalac, most recently performed in the city in February 2025 as part of the Rivermaya reunion, when Mañalac reunited with former bandmates Nathan Azarcon, Rico Blanco, and Mark Escueta for “The Reunion” World Tour stop. He also shared the Coca-Cola Arena stage with Sarah Geronimo in April 2024.
Cup of Joe, the Baguio-formed five-piece behind the hit “Multo,” headlined the Coca-Cola Arena for the first time on November 29, 2025 as part of their global “Stardust” World Tour, drawing a large turnout from the Filipino community.
Adding to the anticipation, an advertisement along Sheikh Zayed Road is currently promoting the concert, featuring Bamboo and Cup of Joe alongside another international artist. That additional act is not part of the December concert and appears as a separate feature within the same advertisement.
