“Papunta na tayo sa exciting part,” she wrote, accompanying the message with an emoji of a woman and a set of scales. She reminded readers that social media users, whether posting from personal or so-called “dump” accounts, are covered by the law and can be traced, adding that it was “too late to delete comments now.” She closed the post by telling some of her critics she would see them soon.
The warning is the sharpest yet in a controversy that began in May 2026, when David’s relationship with 18-year-old Letran basketball player Chad Gammad became public. The couple’s roughly 15-year age gap drew heavy criticism online, with some commenters branding her a “groomer” and others turning the relationship into a running joke. After Gammad posted photos of her for National Girlfriends Day on August 1, some social media users likened the tribute to a “Mother’s Day” post.
David has repeatedly defended the relationship as a mutual, adult decision and asked the public to respect their privacy. In earlier exchanges with critics, she signaled she was prepared to take disputes to court, telling one commenter she had nothing to prove but would only argue “where there can be punishment to the real offenders.” She has also stressed that online users remain accountable under the law regardless of whether they hide behind fake accounts.
