A new track from P-pop group SB19 arrives at the end of the month, the quintet confirmed, with a music video timed to the same release.
The single is titled “Lawless.” Its release date is July 31.
Announcing the project on Facebook, the group framed it in terms of reach rather than restraint. “We don’t stop at borders. We go beyond them. Better watch your back,” SB19 wrote.
The rollout lands during a stretch of international activity for the group. SB19 is booked at Lollapalooza in Chicago’s Grant Park, where organizers have slotted the act on the Allianz stage from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. local time on July 30 — early morning of July 31 in Manila. PhilSTAR Life reported the schedule details in May, noting the group would be the first Filipino act on the festival’s bill.
Earlier this year the group put out its second studio album, Wakas at Simula, on March 27 through Sony Music Philippines. The record combined new original material with tracks drawn from the group’s earlier extended plays.
Two singles preceded that album. “Visa,” released February 20, dealt with the difficulties Filipinos face in securing travel documents, including artists, athletes and overseas Filipino workers. “Emoji,” a collaboration with Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai, followed on the album’s release date; that pairing came out of a shared bill at the Hito Music Awards in Taipei in June 2025.
Group leader Pablo co-wrote and co-produced “Visa” with Joshua Daniel Nase.
