Palm Monorail reopens after half a year offline, with return fares starting at AED 10

Ticket sales for Dubai’s Palm Monorail are live once more, with the elevated line carrying passengers along Palm Jumeirah for the first time since the start of the year. Fares begin at Dh5 for a single trip and Dh10 for a return journey, bookable through the operator’s website and its authorized sales channels.

The 5.5-kilometer route is the sole public transport option on the man-made island, linking four stops — Palm Gateway, Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall, and Atlantis Aquaventure. Riders get access to several of the island’s best-known destinations along the way, with elevated views of the Palm throughout the trip.

Confirmation came through the operator’s social channels. “The Palm Monorail is open! Hop on and enjoy the ride across Palm Jumeirah,” the announcement read.

The break in service began in January, when the operator said the line would pause temporarily so that maintenance could be completed at its stations. With the monorail unavailable, both residents and visitors had been pointed toward the Roads and Transport Authority’s Hala Taxi service as a way to get around the island during that stretch.
