Karat World Gold & Diamonds welcomed customers to its newest Dubai store on Saturday, July 4, 2026, adding an Al Muraqqabat location that deepens the jewelry retailer’s presence in the emirate’s Deira district.
The branch sits on 26B Street in Al Muraqqabat, a commercial pocket of Deira long favored by the area’s Filipino and expatriate shoppers. It joins a retail network that already stretches across several emirates, with the company positioning its 18k gold pieces, diamond sets, and custom work toward buyers looking for quality at reachable price points. Karat World has built much of its identity around serving overseas Filipinos in the Gulf, a strategy reflected in earlier launches such as its Al Barsha 1 store in 2024, where the brand promoted its “Gintong abot kaya, presyong pang masa” tagline and steep markdowns on making charges.
Company leadership was on hand for the evening. Managing Director Abdulla Al Maqddam headed the delegation, joined by Finance and Operations Manager Visakh Prabhakaran, Public Relations Officer Fadel Saleh, Al Muraqqabat Branch Manager Manoob Majeed, and Marketing Executive Wilbert Rivera Cantor.
The launch also drew senior Philippine officials. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver and Consul General in Dubai Ambrosio Brian F. Enciso III attended as chief guests, alongside community figure Josie Conlu, founder of Love, Josie, and presenter Ameera of Emirates Loves Philippines. Guest registration began at 5:30 p.m., with the program following at 6 p.m.
The Global Filipino Magazine served as the official media partner for the launch. Karat World’s reach extends beyond the UAE to markets including the United States and United Kingdom.
