A new three-lane bridge has been greenlit by Sharjah Ruler Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, with construction set to begin immediately at the intersection of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street and Maliha Road.
The AED 140 million project is designed to establish a direct connection between Maliha Road and the road leading to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, with completion targeted within one year of groundbreaking.
Traffic reduction is a central objective of the infrastructure project, which is expected to cut commute times by around nine minutes while improving the flow of vehicles across multiple directions at one of the emirate’s key road junctions.
